Plastering in Auckland.
Plaster work that earns its paint. Solid plaster, GIB stopping, cornicing and crack repair. We finish to a raking-light standard so the topcoat doesn't telegraph every defect later. Plaster and paint from the same crew means nobody's pointing fingers between trades when something goes wrong.

Questions
Plastering in Auckland — the questions we get.
Anything else, just ring. 021 088 17906. Andrew usually picks up himself.
What's the difference between solid plaster and GIB stopping?
Solid plaster is the cement-based exterior and feature work; GIB stopping is the interior plasterboard jointing. We do both, finished to a standard the paint won't telegraph later.
Can you fix cracks so they don't come back?
Settlement cracks we chase out, scrim, and two-coat fill so they're bridged, not just skimmed over. Honest answer: severe structural movement needs an engineer's eye first.
How long before fresh plaster can be painted?
It needs to cure and dry — usually a few days to a couple of weeks depending on thickness and the weather — before sealer and topcoats go on.
Do you do the plaster and the paint?
Yes, with the same crew. It matters: nobody's pointing fingers between trades when something needs sorting.
